Low-Cost Clothing
At The Salvation Army Port Aux Basques, we are dedicated to providing low-cost clothing to our communities. We are always striving to make a difference and to help people. The Thrift Store depends on clothing donations so we can help others. The money raised goes to fund our programs to the community.
Food Bank

The food bank is here for the communities we serve, and is non-judgemental of discriminatory no matter what your situation is. If you are in need of food, give us at call at 709.695.7153 to make your appointment. We are open Mondays from 10:00 - 2:00.
Community Kitchen
Here at The Salvation Army
Channel-Port Aux Basques, we see the value in everyone. Presently with Covid 19 restrictions we offer nutritious take out meals on Tuesday from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Please call 709-695-7153 to register.
Emergency Disaster Services (EDS)
In the time of emergency or disaster we have a team trained and ready to respond. We will provide tea, coffee and a snack to all those responding. It is a prolonged event, we will provide a meal,
